It is estimated that some parts of Ağırnas Underground City were built before Christ. However, it is certain that most of it was added in the years after Christ and in the following centuries. Among the places of worship, beams and paintings of the Christian period seen in the underground city, the most common ones date back to the 1st and 13th AD. It is seen that it has been used for centuries.
